Masai Mara-Serengeti-Ngorongoro-Amboseli Camp 8 days Safari

Maasai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Amboseli Camping safari. 8-days Masai Mara Serengeti safari from Nairobi is a fun-filled migration safari. Stay in tented camps with hot shower, flush toilets and beds. Safari game drives, camping bonfire and 8 day meals are included.

Day 1- Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve

Our driver will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel at 7:30am for the drive through kikuyu highlands. A small 10 minute stopover at the Great Rift Valley will usher you into the world of scenic beauty and amazing mountains on the rift valley floor. The extinct strata volcano of Mt Longonot is enroute and a smaller sister mount Suswa.

A game drive is arranged after the lunch at 1600hrs until dusk. This is your first brush with the wilderness of Masai Mara and you may just be in luck to see all the big five animals on this one afternoon.

See the large herds of wildebeests, gazelles, elephants, impalas, Topis, hartebeests, giraffes, buffalos, and many others. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Mara Sopa or Mara Serena game lodge your lodge or camp on a full board basis.

Day 2 – Masai Mara Game Reserve

Full day will be spent in Masai Mara game reserve with two game drives; one game drive is done at dawn after a hot mug of coffee and an evening game drive at 1600hrs. You will return to lodge after each game drive for relaxation before venturing out again with your checklist of animals to be found on each game drive.

This is the day to venture out to the Mara River to see the crocodiles and hippos or the wildebeest migration river crossing if in season. This day is the climax of your Masai Mara jaunt as you will have the most hours of game drive.

Day 3 – Masai Mara – Isbania Border – Serengeti National Park

Early morning game drive followed by Breakfast. Drive out of Masai Mara with packed lunch towards Isbania border point and drive into Tanzania side of the border.  At Isbania border point you will change into a 4×4 land cruiser and be met by our Tanzanian tour representative for the Tanzanian leg of the safari. You will pay for the Tanzanian visa at the border and start your drive after clearing with Tanzanian immigration.

Drive into Serengeti for the game drive with lunch enroute.  Game drive until evening and check into your Serengeti lodge for dinner and overnight stay on full board basis.

Day 4 – Serengeti National Park

All day at the Serengeti national park with a morning and afternoon game drive. You will marvel at this virgin and untouched park with beautiful scenery. Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti katikati lodge on full board basis.

Day 5- Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Leave Serengeti Katikati lodge for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with an enroute game drive arriving in Serena Ngorongoro lodge or Ngorongoro Sopa lodge in time for lunch.

Drop into the floor of the Ngorongoro crater at 1400hrs for game drive in this scenic and unique park. Try and spot the Rhinos, Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Cheetahs, Buffalos and Hippos. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6 – Ngorongoro Crater – Namanga Border -Amboseli National Park

But there’s even more – the Ngorongoro Conservation Area also encompasses mountains, lakes, forests and wide-open African plains! With the world-famous crater at its heart)

Depart after breakfast for the Amboseli national park with lunch boxes from the lodge. After border formalities, you will change from the 4×4 vehicle and reconnect with your Kenyan Driver and say good bye to your Tanzanian Driver guide.

Arrive in Amboseli in Midafternoon and check into the Amboseli Sopa or Serena lodge. Game drive starts at 1600hrs in Amboseli National park. Amboseli is a 392sqkm park and home to Elephants, Wildebeests, and Buffalos, gazelles, impalas, Lions, cheetahs, monkeys, hyenas, wildebeests, leopards, giraffes, elands among many others.

Early evening light clouds exposes the majestic peak Kibo of Africa’s highest mountain Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge in Amboseli on full board basis.

Day 7- Amboseli National Park

Spend a whole day in Amboseli national park with morning and afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Serena or Sentrim camp.

Day 8- Amboseli National Park – Nairobi

Early Breakfast then depart for Nairobi arriving in time for Lunch in a Nairobi Hotel.
