We depart tented camp for an evening game drive in the park and start our first game drive to view the millions of animals in this park.

Our day 2 of the 3-day Masai mara shared camping safari is a full-day game drive day.
We will wake up to a sumptuous buffet breakfast and depart at 0630hrs for a full day game drive crossing the full expanse of the mara.
This is our best day to view as many wildlife as we can including the all the big five and the ugly five as well.
From our camp located on the southern east end of the Mara game reserve, we drive northwestwards towards river mara with enroute game drives.
Watch the thousands of gazelles on the plains, the hundreds of elephants and buffalos and the tens of lion prides.
The early morning game drive is the best chance to see all the game, as they are most active in these cool temperatures at dawn. Its however chilly and we will need to come with some warm jacket or a kikoi shawl.
We will watch the lone leopard walking along the game drive tracks parallel to your vehicle or the lioness stalking some impala from the road.
Lets drive up to Mara River and if the wildebeest migration is in season, and we watch the mara river crossing in the thousands. It is quite a sight to watch the millions of wildebeest as they jostle and fight to be the first into the water.
We will be treated to watching the crocodiles and the hippos as they swim in the waters of this river.
Afternoon, we have an optional visit to a Masai village to see how they live and interact with wildlife.

On this day, we wake up to a warm breakfast and a morning game drive in the park.
Our 3 days Masai mara shared budget camping safari ends today. We will depart the mara at 10:00am for the drive back to Nairobi.
It is also advisable to give an allowance in time just in case you have bad traffic enroute back or a road blockage which happens due to the heavy trucks using that road.
We drive out of the park enroute to Nairobi with a lunch at Mai Mahiu or Narok towns.
We have an option to stop at a souvenir shop enroute to Nairobi for that last minute shopping opportunity.
We will be dropped off at our Nairobi city hotel or the JKIA airport with driver’s arrangement.
